Appointments

We are open to serve you, answer any questions or schedule an appointment during the following hours:

Snellville Office:  Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Winder Office:  Fridays (by appointment only)

At Gray Orthodontics, we try our best to make your office visits prompt, smooth and efficient. We understand that most patients have busy schedules, including school, work and extracurricular activities. When your treatment begins, you will see Dr. Gray every 4 to 6 weeks. As you might expect, some of these appointments will conflict with your school, work or activities schedules. We try to accommodate our patients so you have as few of these inconveniences as possible. To help us meet your scheduling needs, we uphold the following appointment policies:

Routine Appointments

The majority of your appointments will last approximately 15-30 minutes. Once you are wearing your braces, we alternate your appointments between 15-minute visits and 30-minute visits, every other appointment. Please be aware that the 30-minute appointments are more difficult to schedule after school hours. We reserve afternoons for 15-minute appointments in order to see more patients in one day.

Longer Appointments

We typically schedule longer appointments during morning and early afternoon hours, during school. These longer appointments are usually when we are initially placing your braces, banding your second molars or removing your braces. By scheduling long appointments this way, Dr. Gray is able to give more individualized attention and time to each patient. This also frees up the afternoon hours to schedule as many patients as possible after school. For longer appointments during school hours, we will be happy to provide you with a written excuse.

Rescheduled Appointments

We ask that you please remember two very important things: 1) Every appointment is essential to the success of your treatment. 2) Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and we appreciate your cooperation. Please call us as soon as possible to reschedule. Frequently missed or rescheduled appointments will cause your treatment time to be extended.

Late Arrivals

At Gray Orthodontics, we strive to see each patient in a timely manner. Late arrivals affect our entire schedule because each procedure requires a specified amount of time. If you are late, we may be able to see you, but we may not be able to complete the intended amount of work. Please call our Snellville office at (770) 972-2800 or our Winder office at (770) 868-8554 if you are running late so we can make appropriate arrangements.
